On this morning following the tradition of the last years on Radio Tilos I continued the autumn mix-session entitled "Fall-N-iN-Bass Sessions". Bass in focus.
The fourth installment of the 2023 Fall-N-iN-Bass Sessions mix series featured a guest mix. I had the honor of having Eapana create a 54-minute guest mix for the show, which was an undulating journey into the world of ambient and slow rhythms, but I could sum it up as a downtempo mix. I played this mix at the beginning of the show with some more restrained, slower music.
Brief introduction of Eapana:
I've been writing music since the mid-2000s, but unfortunately I had a long hiatus lasting many years. I revived a few years ago.
Basically, I write downtempo stuff, that interests me the most and this kind of approach to music is the most interesting for me at the moment. Within this, I move along the dub-triphop line and am also influenced by ambient, experimental and jazz.
From the mid-2000s to the beginning of the 2010s, I had a few EPs released, then still in the deep house style. Then, after quite a few years of silence, the ice broke in 2020, a completely new era began and I was able to sign up again with an EP. And in 2023, the first full-length self-titled album of my life was finally released in CD format, which I am very proud of.
